Global Warming Paragraph for Class 6, 7, 8

Global warming means the rise in temperature of the atmosphere. The world’s temperature is increasing day by day. This is called global warming. It is caused by an increase in carbon dioxide and other gases in the air. Most climatologists believe that the greenhouse effect is the probable cause of global warming. It is a serious threat to mankind. This reduces mankind’s ability to grow food, destroy coastal areas, and farmland.

The weather pattern will change, and it will cause cyclones, floods, and other natural calamities. The global warming issue is no longer confined to a particular country or area. The whole of the world is affected by it more or less. The alarming news about Bangladesh is that, as a result of global warming, the water level of the sea will rise.

Consequently, the lower southern part of Bangladesh may one day go underwater. In order to stop global warming, we have to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide. At the same time, we must plant trees on a large scale as trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. If we fail to prevent it, our existence on earth will be at stake.

Global Warming Paragraph for SSC

The increase in the world’s temperature. The world’s temperature is increasing day by day. The greenhouse effect is the most likely cause of this global warming. Carbon dioxide is mainly responsible for this increase. Pollutants such as methane and chlorofluorocarbons, etc., also contribute to this. Deforestation around the world, the increasing number of vehicles on the roads, the burning down of tropical rainforests, the rapid growth of industry, etc., are responsible for the increase in carbon dioxide.

This gas accumulates in the atmosphere and causes the temperature to rise. The effects of global warming are serious and dangerous. It has been predicted that by the middle of the next century, world temperatures may have risen by as much as 4°C. This will greatly reduce men’s ability to grow food and damage the wild and wilderness. As a result of global warming, the ice in the Polar Regions is melting. This may raise the sea level and flood coastal areas.

The alarming news for Bangladesh is that the lower southern part of the country may one day go underwater. Some measures should be taken to prevent global warming. We should plant more trees as trees absorb carbon dioxide. Old vehicles must not be allowed to ply on the roads. Moreover, vehicles may use CNG gas. The most important thing is to raise public awareness in this regard.

The destruction of forests and other habitats is causing the extinction of various plants and animals every day. If we destroy forests and burn down trees, the effects might eventually endanger us all. Then the weather pattern will change, and the world will become much warmer. Most climatologists believe that the greenhouse effect is the probable cause of global warming.

Climatologists predict that midway through this century, temperature may have risen by as much as 4°C. This could catastrophically reduce mankind’s ability to grow food, destroy or severely damage wildlife and wilderness, raise sea levels, and thereby flood coastal areas and farmland. That is the reason why it is a threat to mankind.

The alarming news about Bangladesh is that, as a result of the rise in sea level, the southern part of the country may one day go underwater. We can prevent it by a large number of tree plantations as well as by preserving those that were planted before. Above all, we have to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide.
