There were two friends. They lived in a certain village. They promised that they would help each other in times of danger. One day they were passing through a deep forest. Suddenly a bear came in front of them.
So, both of them were afraid and at a loss for what to do. One of them knew how to climb a tree. He immediately climbed a tree and hid himself. The other man, finding no alternative, fell to the ground and held his breath, pretending to be dead.
The bear came up to him and smelt his nose, ears, and face, took him to be a dead man, and left the place. When the bear was gone, the man in the tree came down and said, “Thank God that you are saved.
But friend, I saw the bear close its mouth to your ear. Did it say anything to you?” The friend replied. “Yes, the bear told me not to trust a friend who left me in danger to seek his safety.”

One day in the evening two friends were passing through a jungle. They were very intimate with each other. There lived many wild beasts in the jungle.

Suddenly, he remembered that the bear does not eat dead animals. So, he lay down on the ground just like a dead man. The bear came to him and smelt his body. He stopped breathing. The bear thought that he was dead and went away.
