Deforestation around the world, the increasing number of vehicles on the roads, the burning down of tropical rainforests, the rapid growth of industry, the burning of wood and oil, etc., are responsible for the increase in carbon dioxide.
The effects of green greenhouse effect are serious and dangerous. It has been predicted that by mid-way through the next century, temperatures may have risen as much as 4°c.
