Chowmuhani, Noakhali.

My dear Mother,
At first, take my salam/regards. You wanted to know about my school hostel. The name of my school hostel is Al-Ameen Hostel.

It is a three-storied and U-shaped building. It faces the west. There is a nice flower garden in front of it. There are twenty-six rooms in our school hostel. Every room has four seats. We are eighty-five students in our school hostel. Food items and the servicing system are standard. I have to pay Tk-4000 per month.

We have a well-equipped common room, and our dining room is neat and clean. Water and power supply are available here.

No more today. Carry my salam to father. Good-bye.

Your loving son,
Momen

Dear Mazed,
Take my love and affection. Hope you are safe and sound by the grace of the Almighty Lord. I am also well by his grace. However, from your last letter, I have come to learn that you are eager to know about my hostel life. Our school is a very developed one. There is a two-story school hostel in front of the main building. The school hostel is south-facing. So southern breeze enters almost every room.

However, I stay on the first floor. My room No. 150. It is very spacious. I stay with the other two students. They are very funny. They always make fun of each other. I get amused and amazed staying at the hostel. Besides, at noon we play different games and sports like football, cricket, and badminton. At this, we get a golden opportunity to take physical exercise.

Moreover, we take physical exercise regularly, getting up early in the morning. We also gossip with each other and pass our leisure amusingly. In a word, our hostel life is full of joy and enjoyment.

What about you? Write to me whenever you have time to do so. Don’t forget to inform me of your present condition.

Yours ever,
Faria

My dear Father,
Your letter is just to hand. I have come to know from it that you are very worried about my hostel life. But the hostel environment is not like what you are worried about. Here I have got a spacious room where open air and light come all day long. All of my roommates are very amiable, and we help one another in our troubles.

The hostel’s canteen and dining hall provide food wthatarisuite good, and nutritious. Moreover, it is very neat and clean an,d hygienic. There is a reading room on the second floor of the hostel where I study regularly. I feel very comfortable studying there.

Every afternoon, I pass my leisure hours by playing badminton on the large grounds. I am having a very wonderful time in the hostel. In the letter, you have expressed your concern about political groups. But they do not do any harm to those who are not involved in them, and I tactfully avoid them.

Please, Dad, don’t worry about me. I am very well here by the grace of the Almighty. Pray for me. Best regards to you and your mother.

Yours affectionately,
Samir
